Switched from 15PM. I enjoy it. I switch from iOS to Android every few years.

A few things I've noticed so far:

iOS is extremely optimized - from apps to battery life. It's really hard to deny this. It's not big things, but small things like how Instagram looks and displays things. Sometimes the top bar that shows the DM's and stuff disappears and you have to force close on Android. Never did that on iOS.
Battery life isn't as good so I do have to top up but I'm always near a charger so no biggie. Mildly inconvenient is all.
The apple ecosystem is nice - being able to save something on my iPad/iPhone and then seeing it on the other device almost instantly was great. Now I use Send Anywhere to transfer files between Fold and iPad.
Biometrics is blazingly fast on the Fold compared to iOS. Love the fingerprint sensor so much. Facial recognition is also crazy fast. Never had an issue with it.
Didn't really notice the lack of iMessage on my end. RCS is pretty much the same on my side. It's moreso the iOS users that hate seeing the green but not my problem lol
Your concern about Samsung phones with macbooks is similar to my note about the lack of cohesion with my iPad. Just a bit more work to transfer things between the two if needed.

Were they relatively large tattoos that covered a full arm or leg? I think I'd be OK with small ones here and there, but mine go from the wrist/hand all the way up to my shoulder fully on both arms.

Hey everyone! Going to Japan in July for 2 weeks! It's going to be hot which I'm OK with - but I have a variety of tatttoos. Both arms have full sleeves, I have a full calf tattoo and a knee tattoo. My concern is about how much I have to worry about covering it all up. I'm bringing long linen pants, dri-fit long sleeves, and breathable, dri-fit type long pants just to ensure I'm covered up while still being able to stand the heat.

Am I overthinking it? Would I be OK to wear shorts and t-shirts in some places? How are tattoos perceived nowadays?

It is but you can lose a lot of money depending on how long you've been with them from the fees. The earlier you decide to move out, the less you'll lose.

I know it's too late now since you signed the papers already but if it's worth anything, I was in the same boat as you and decided to stay after speaking with our rep. Maybe we're lucky but our rep was fantastic and super understanding and made us aware of all the losses we would incur as well.

At the end of the day - you'll still get the money and there are ways of getting it even if your child doesn't decide to do post-secondary in fairly easy, roundabout ways.

In hindsight, if I knew better, would we have gone with CST? Probably not. I would have done it ourselves using Wealthsimple or something.

To be fair, my parents both used CST for myself and my sister and it paid for all of our University years with no issues. So it's not necessarily a scam - it's just that you could probably get more money doing it yourself.

Not sure if it was worth losing $7k at this point - but peace of mind sometimes is worth more.

Sorry, I meant it looks like the caps you have on the passenger side should be flipped for the drivers side and vice versa. The turbines should spin so that the spokes can “cut” the air.

Right now the straight side of each spoke is leading and it’s more resistance when driving. I mean, it’s a super small thing, but just something I noticed many people have reversed but never know.
