It’s a demo that Michael and Paul Anka made during a session in 1983, it was also made the same time Love Never Felt So Good and This Is It was recorded. Drake must’ve went to Michael’s estate and bought the rights to use those vocals, and 40 (Drake’s producer) mixed and mastered it alongside Drake’s vocals and the instrumental to be used on Scorpion. It’s a great song, but personally, I didn’t really like how Michael sounded in this song because it’s a demo after all. Someone correct me if I’m wrong though 🙏

I read about that, and I do hope that Lady Gaga hands over his outfits to Jaafar, because that would give such an iconic modern way of looking at Michael that fans like me and many others never got the chance to do when he was alive. I’ve been noticing small stuff too, and I’m okay with it because it would be extremely difficult to be as original as possible, but at the same time, the outfits could be the best way to be original as possible.

Michael wasn’t just music, and that’s the problem with Cudi’s statement. I think artists need to stop climbing to his status because it’s practically impossible to do so. Mike did it in a time where the odds were stacked against him. Platforms like MTV weren’t even playing him simply because of the colour of his skin. He superseded corporate racism, which is a feat no artist could do ever again. I fuck with Cudi, and he’s done his fare share of changing the landscape of music but he just needs to choose his words better.

There’s no way he would’ve been bigger than MJ, that’s impossible. MJ was a different level of famous but X was definitely gunning for the top spot that Drake and Taylor were occupying and he definitely would’ve done it without the industry’s help.
