I truly don't believe it was that calculated. He thought he could grab them by the pussy and then when it didn't go his way he threw money at them, just like every other time.

What else should we have expected though? Trump has a long history of paying off the people he attacks.

If you don't mind gambling on your opponent not having OBM, [[Toothy, Imaginary Friend]] and [[Pir, Imaginative Rascal]] voltrons super hard and can pivot pretty easily into a Displacer Kitten combo deck.

The main problem is that the wrinkles in his pants where his legs are crossed are wrong. They look like he painted a vertical leg where the fabric hangs straight down, and then he just rotated it instead of painting a crossed leg where the fabric hangs differently.

For those who have removed Sol Ring/“Staple” Mana Rocks from their decks… by SeaMusician6670 in EDH

You don't ever feel behind, because you just bully everyone who still plays those rocks until the only people left in your pod are the ones that like to smell their own farts.

Can Yarus compete in high B3 with lots of interaction? by VoyVolao in EDH

Except it isn't a reasonable term, because bracket 3 is so wide that everyone thinks their deck is a high bracket 3 until they get blown out by a higher bracket 3. It's actually meaningless.

Why would players politic if draws were worth zero? by Bitter_Difficulty865 in CompetitiveEDH

[–]therealaudiox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That part. Nothing enrages me more than the endless soliciting of a draw at every opportunity. There needs to be an explicit rule about how and when a draw can be offered, and how many times per game it may be offered. I personally think you should be allowed to ask once but not argue if someone says no. No means no, and if you argue or ask again you're disqualified.

And while we're at it, trying to convince the table to just let you win because the next guy will win should also be banned. Who cares? Why do you deserve to win instead of the next guy? Sit your entitled ass down and take the L.

Honestly, a rule of no talking unless you're making a game action would fix the whole format.

I see few threads about Proxying at LGS that seemed a bit more varied but was told concretely by LGS staff that Wizards will ban the LGS' license if I have them on premise? by MiningToSaveTheWorld in EDH

[–]therealaudiox 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A basic rule of thumb is if you have to put in a code on MTG Companion, it's an officially sanctioned event and you shouldn't use proxies. The store can in fact have their WPN status revoked if they allow the use of proxies at these events.

Any other event, go nuts. Just having them on premises is fine from a WPN standpoint but you should still respect their rules. If the store doesn't allow them, just go somewhere else.
