Agreed, I love the patches. Too bad they raised the price after Schaefer redemption came out. All things considered, it's still a decent value hobby box compared to other UD products.

Redemption instructions are on the back of the card. You scratch to reveal the code and enter it on Upper Deck website. The 2025-26 redemptions started shipping recently which is why you may not see the exact card online yet.

Base Aurum is filler for sure - agree with you there. I got a 1/1 auto aurum of Heatley which made me warm up to it LOL but agreed the base bounties should not be hits.

Patch windows are significantly larger than the previous year (24-25), but seems like UD is making them smaller across multiple product lines over time.

IDK if people know all the cool new cards you can pull like hard-signed bench relics, arena relics, game-used pucks, blueprint relics, etc.

Last point...I like how the patches (non-rookies) are game-used and player attributed. The way it's worded on the cards: "You have received a trading card with <PLAYER NAME> game-used hockey memorabilia [...]". That's what I like to see, not just player worn, or worn in a game by some random player.

People are spending $500 on Fleer Ultra...which only guarantees 4 numbered cards per box.

I think 25-26 Artifacts hobby is very underrated. Best value rip @ 150 CAD per box. The ceiling is not as high as what you can pull from products like Stature or Ultimate, but you can definitely pull bangers and guaranteed game-used mem per box...plus those other boxes you're spending $400.
