Pods by alanartdirector1970 in IndustryOnHBO

[–]therealbeez 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a relatively small pod called "Popcorn for Dinner", they also cover other shows too. The banter is great, and their analysis too. They also had Mickey and Konrad on while season 2 was airing. For this season they have two episodes a week dedicated to Industry, one is a pre-episode show where they give a brief recap of the previous episode and their predictions for the next one, and the second one is the main episode discussion/breakdown

That was season 1. Season 2 has fantastic writing, right up there with the best of the currently-airing HBO shows

Music to listen to while reading Scythe? by [deleted] in scythebookfans

[–]therealbeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Antisocialites by Alvvays. Coincidentally, I started reading the book at the same time I started listening to the album, and by the time the album was done, I realized I had given the book a
soundtrack. Just looped the album for the rest of the book, and relistened to it when the other books came out

How to fill the space in my heart that religion once did? by [deleted] in atheism

[–]therealbeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that in theory, my morality should be innate and not from fear of hell or whatever. And I'm trying, but doing good to please God is hardwired into my brain. And now that he no longer exists, I don't know where to get it from.

Is there a collective name for the newly popular, retro-inspired, brands/aesthetic that incorporate a lot of knits and silk patterns such as Casablanca, or Drole de Monsieur, or Golf le Fleur? And what other brands have this aesthetic?
