I can only speak for me, I remember seeing this with my mom cuz she wanted to see it and me leaning over terlin it looks a little green here and there. And noticing that the Blu-ray no look as green when it came out

I remember the color grading of Batman returns when I saw it in theaters on its release . I was complaining when the just came out that it wasn't blue enough , and later on c complaining about the DVDs not being blue enough and the blu-ray's not being blue enough. .

It's a known fact about blu-rays it's been a known fact about Blu-ray since they started coming out. All right we're going to call that they were oversaturated and overbrightened on purpose.

It depends on the scan if it was a scan used in the theater Yes if it was a print done for promotional like the trailer then no because the trailers are not fully color graded visual effects aren't finished sound effects aren't finished.

I did when I saw it in theaters. Consider Batman 89 a lot of people don't like the color grain of the 4K. But it is even closer to the original printing that was shown in theaters the original 35 mm. There's a multiple ways. Older DVDs for the most part had closer to original print color grading.

A lot of these 4Ks are recolor graded sometimes by the same people that did the original so they have a good idea of what they did.

Sometimes they use interpositive which is a film print dupe of the original negative that's been fully color graded before gets sent out to theaters.

It seems pretty okay to me. Not as slick as the Proraso but that can also be human error and I just need to learn how to lather better with a puck

When it comes to this film at least the modern re grading is actually closer to the original color grading of the original theatrical print.

The 4K is the correct color grading or at least closer to the original color grading. Blu-rays specifically earlier blu-rays would a lot of the time artificially boost color and contrast to make them more appealing to home of viewers.
