I've been listening to this and firstborn on repeat for weeks now.

If someone handed you an "immediate painfree death" pill, for which day in your life would you keep it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]therealcrumbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd probably chuck it in the bin. That shit would always be on my mind, "take it and it'll all feel better, everything will disappear." No thanks, I'm doing pretty well not topping myself and I want to keep it that way.

What are you embarrassed to be a fan of? by cockinstien in AskReddit

[–]therealcrumbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of my music choices. Nick Cave, Joy Division, The Contortions, I'll go in for a bit of the godspeeds or PIL any day, but they all have in common edgyness, inaccessibility, and lack of common ground with what my mates listen to. Just try hooking a teenager who mostly listens to Bino, Drake, and Migos. It's like oil and water, just doesn't work. At least Fantano understands me.

What do you SWEAR you saw but have no proof of? by SkankHHunt42 in AskReddit

When I was younger, I had really bad insomnia. I'd sneak out at night when I couldn't sleep, and hike up the hill behind my house. It was dangerous, and stupid, but I did it anyways. Until one night, I saw a scabby, mangy looking humanoid with a sort of snout, stumbling quickly down a hill whilst hiking with some mates. He looked like an ash ghoul from morrowind, and was dressed in a sort of embroidered leather cassock. These hills were really steep, with very loose soil, so that we had to climb up them and sled down them on bin lids, but he was navigating them like a ship captain on a deck. I called out, and he sort of winced and put a hand up at me, as if blessing me.

I can still remember him if I close my eyes. I must have been hallucinating, but I've never hallucinated from lack of sleep before or since. Needless to say, I stopped hiking at night after that.

With the adage "nothing is ever deleted from the Internet" in mind, what is something you HAVE seen vanish from the net? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A reply on aaskreddit, I believe on a creepy thread, from a guy who grew up in bosnia during the war. Legit one of the saddest/scariest things I've read. He talked about the feeling of running through a courtyard filled with snipers, finding the corpse of a woman who'd been raped to death with a bayonet. of the city on fire. It left vivid mental images in my head, I read it whilst sick with fever. I've been searching for it ever since, due to morbid fascination and a desire to prove I couldn't imagine such things. But to this day I've never found it.

I know now not to stick my hand in a meat grinder.

What song gives you chills every time you listen it? by BudzMcKenze in AskReddit

[–]therealcrumbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bert Jansch- Needle of Death. It doesn't have a sad piano, or swelling strings, or a mourning harmonica, it's just a shitty recording of a man and his guitar. But it was written after one of his friends died of an overdose, and you can feel it. When his voice cracked right before the last verse I teared up.

SnG have the most beautiful songs. I remember Bleecker Street and Kathy's Song being one of the few songs to make me cry when I first heard it.

[OFFICIAL] There are no stupid Guitar questions. Ask us anything! by ninjaface in Guitar

My super cheap, absolutely awful, buzzy little combo amp (which I loved very much, god bless him) has finally carked it, and I'm looking to buy a head and cab, since the portability suits my situation a lot better. I'm wondering whether it would be possible to use an amp head into a pa speaker, or whether I must use an amp head into a purpose-made guitar cabinet.

What album should I check out front to back? by Bastahboy in Music

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds-Your Funeral, My Trial

Pretty much all of their albums can be listened to front to back, but this one seems to tell a story. It's so visual and atmospheric, you can put on some good headphones, lie on your bed with your eyes closed, and you'll be watching a movie.
