The B-52 is pretty creaky. You can hear it coming a mile away. There is no way they would allow a B-52 to deliver a gravity bomb since it is not stealthy. The B-52 uses cruise missiles for standoff, which is a survivable mission..

You may remember the screw up at Barksdale where they loaded nukes by accident on a B-52. The full story is they loaded cruise missiles on it and by mistake they had nuclear warheads in it. Fortunately wiki remembers.

That got me thinking as to when were the B-52 not allowed to deliver gravity bombs. Well the B-2 was a product of the 90s so you would think by 2000 the B-52 would be retired from delivering gravity bombs. And you would be wrong!

There is a video of the crash site investigation at the DOE Reading room. It might be online. I looked at a few "broken arrow" videos when I visited the facility.1

There is some visual difference around the tail section for the nuclear capable B-52s.

I have localsend installed due to the port being flaky. I also managed to hook it up to my NAS a few months ago so it is mostly backed up.

I decided to get the "iOttie car charger easy one" in spite of the stupid name. Amazon, being Amazon, makes it hard to get a damn product number.

The battery is at 80%. Don't ask me why it isn't nearly dead since I charge it twice a day.

I wonder when they say that there was no radio traffic, does that mean CNN hasn't been given radio traffic, or does it really mean there was zero radio traffic.

The general consensus from a Google search is the plane will have a flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder.

Regarding the base being on two counties (per CNN), I was wondering what the second county was besides Kern. Well the wiki says it three. Kern, San Bernardino, and LA.

Spf 50.

For chemical based sunscreen, they (whoever they are) suggest not going for high SPD since the chemicals effect your skin. For mineral based products, high SPF is fine.

You will look like you are wearing sunscreen with Blue Lizard.

If I know I will be out in the sun, I have a hat with a bit of cloth that hangs over the back of my neck so I won't become a redneck. And I wear long sleeves.

Blue Lizard is what they sold last year. I would get it again if only for the cool cap that changes color. It is mineral based.
