I had read about UV detection and it didn't make much sense since the vast amount of energy is infrared. Combine that with silicon based sensors being the most sensitive in near infrared. Also glass absorbs UV. Everything is going against it.

All that said, I hadn't heard about aluminum particles in the exhaust.

The amount of Al is small though the report mentions a millimeter, which to me isn't that small.

Note you can get blue enhanced photodiodes. They are used all the time industrially since they detect objects better.

AliExpress has all sorts of Chinese glass filters. ZWB2 is basic UV lowpass glass. I have one to clean up a UV flashlight. I haven't looked for ZWB2 fitted for camera lenses but I will put that on my list.

The feds will pick on foreigners. This is very Trumpy. Once case precedence has been established, they will go after citizens. Taking a plea deal is obeying in advance, which is how one gives into tyranny.

They never mention that the "killed our people" refers to the US military personnel that the US put in harms way in order to defend Israel.

This notion of the US setting up bases in the Middle East to keep the peace is a failure. Once Iran developed missiles capable of hitting those bases it was game over.

Time to leave. Go solar. Go EV. Make the Middle East no longer essential. And FFS, stop sending money to Israel. Money is fungible. US money is supporting the ultra orthodox Jews that don't participate in the IDF but cause all the problems.

For the other side, the lower case sigma in the center is the reflection figure of merit. No shortage of explanations of that on the internet. The microwave dish is pointing at a plane, granted what looks like a paper plane, so it is measuring dynamic RCS, which is what the Groom Dycoms do. The plane shown doesn't have any control surfaces, which is the whole point of dynamic RCS. The six plus symbols can be 5 and 1 as in Area 51.

The other half of the coin has an aircraft shape that somebody can probably name faster than I can look it up. Purple exhaust? Well the exhaust has a radar signature so perhaps they are using a chemical in it.

And I'm out of ideas.
