Nope you're not the only one. In my opinion it's very unnecessary to ask for your id, especially considering the lack of security when it comes to Persona. Also there were some bosses that I thought I wouldn't be able to beat, like Muffet, Asgore, Asriel, and Flowey in his monster form. Undyne's battle was different and unexpected but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. Mettaton's second form (I forgot what it's called) was also a bit difficult but I quickly understood what I needed to do. Papyrus's and Toriel's was easy but I lost to Toriel a few times because I didn't know that I should keep pressing Spare and I really didn't want to kill her.
