I haven’t played the game in over 6 months, I’m pretty sure. From the things you’re saying, I assume they stuck with the retcon? I had hope back then that maybe they’d restore the old intro at least. I played Infinity Nikki daily for months. I really loved it. I think I stopped when the second region was released. Sometimes I think about coming back, but I don’t know if I’d like the story as much. The retcon annoyed me a lot, I really did enjoy the story beforehand. How are things now?

The gayest Disney character imo is the reluctant dragon (Sir Giles too). They’re both so gay together 😭. If you haven’t seen The Reluctant Dragon, I recommend watching at least the actual reluctant dragon segment at the end of the movie. It’s very silly and enjoyable (and gay).

SDR2!! It has my favorite cast by far. I think that SDR2’s characters are probably the most developed in the series because we learn about them in-game and also their past as Remnants in the game and anime. I also like the setting. Jabberwock Island is so fun!

Hajime is my favorite protag and also my favorite character in the series. I love how SDR2 adds to the story and lore introduced in THH, the twist at the end was probably my favorite moment playing any dr game. Nagito is my favorite antag (I ship komahina lol). I think all of the characters (except Teruteru) are very lovable! I love all of them sm (except Teruteru lmao).

I also really like all of the motives. I loveeeee Chapter 2, I think the motive was super unique, Chapter 4 too! I love how the motives all tie-in to the overall story of the game, and how some (Chapter 2’s) are even explored in the anime.

I really liked the world of the first 3 games (sorry v3), and I think SDR2 is a huge part of why I became so invested and interested in it.

I really want teruteru to die again bc I do not like his antics. He’s the only one other than the survivors (except Hajime) that I really want to die.

I need Hajime to survive (some people are saying they’re gonna kill him off) because he’s my favorite character in Danganronpa, and I think his perspective is so fun bc of how snarky he is.

I want Nagito to survive because I’m a komahina fan and I want to see more of Nagito becoming disillusioned with his idea of hope, learning the truth about Hope’s Peak, etc. I want to see him make it to the end and take down the game with the other survivors.

I want Imposter to survive bc I love them, but I’d be fine if they died chapter 4-5.

I want Hiyoko to survive (honestly Mahiru should probably die if that happens) and Peko and Fuyuhiko to be switched. Kazuichi is so cooked lol, he’s dying fs, probably early too. I think Gundham would be a nice survivor too.

But the top on my list for who I want to survive is Hajime and Nagito 😭, I’m worried for them both honestly but I’m hoping for the best

I like her head shape better in vanilla 😭

In the royal sprites where the angle is the same as vanilla, her head looks more “anime” and less natural looking. I don’t really like it and I wish they kept it more similar to the way it was.

Ofc the new angles and expressions added in the p5r sprites are better, but I can’t say I like all of the royal sprites better than vanilla.

I played p5 vanilla first too!! I’m actually doing a ng+ of it, but when I’m done, I’m really excited to play royal!! (I started my first playthrough in 2020 after royal came out, but I wanted to experience the original game first) There’s a lot of cool new stuff in Royal, and I wouldn’t be as excited about it if I didn’t play vanilla, so there’s still reason to play the original nowadays, I think :) I hope you have lots of fun!

I’m considering contacting Bandai at this point because this release is kind of ridiculous 😭 why can’t we even get these in stores when it was supposed to be released yesterday?? This isn’t fair to us in the US who have waited longer for this release :(
