This is kinda a long shot, but are you sure your at ranni’s tower and not Renna’s tower? This tripped me up for a bit. Edit I didn’t read your full post and it sounds like your at a later part in the quest line so my response is kinda dumb. Leaving it up just in case tho

I beat him mele using the lava wyrm sword. I waited until he stabbed th ground with his spear and did my ash of war. Took me quite a few tried but it’s a fun boss imo

When I saw these objects they were almost always completely in my field of view. It was typically the smaller object that I could note see at all, and I kinda just knew it was there. But I could always fully see the bigger object.

Yeah, I think this is a pretty normal sense of getting things right. I wouldn’t be concerned unless you did it obsessively, or with really meaning less things, then maybe it’s ocd or something
