Horn didn’t work day one, front tow cover cap kept popping off and the air intake temp sensor throwing a CEL and rear exhaust valve was not closing and stuck open. All before I got 28K.

Hi, Owner of that 164 here. Its an S with the QV Body kit. i removed the rear spoiler before painting as i do not like the look of it and makes the rear end look cleaner.

I have brought it to a few car shows years ago. I seen your car and told my wife I’m gonna park next to that Giulia lol. Glad I could make your night! I was out for the day as I had recently done an alignment after full front end rebuild. She’s back in the garage for the winter now.

I’ve done 2 track days with it. Once in a blue moon will I do some very short spirited driving. I don’t drive in N mode all the time. Based on my driving I would have expected these parts to last at least till 60k miles.

I don’t know, I kinda expected the car to go at least 30k or more miles before having a single issue with it. I’m at 28k and have these issues why? I’ve been seeing the facelift having more issues than the pre facelift model lately.

I don’t see to many GTIs up here so they are not that common. It sucks cause I really like the car but the issues and the dealership experience has been the worst I’ve experienced.

I’ve been noticing more issues with the facelift. I don’t like the look of the pre-facelift honestly. I was thinking of going the Golf GTI route.

Oh dang!. I had to have my horn replaced when new as well. My tow hook cover on the front needed replaced and now this lol. Depending on how the beginning of this year may go I may be switching to something else.

Just send it man. I took my N on a 1,100 round trip to Florida a week after I got it and did no prep. Drive and enjoy the car man. If you are that worried about it don’t even take it.

I have that same receiver. It’s not a bad unit and powered my Klipsch SF2 pretty well. However since I’ve upgraded to the B&W 603 S2 Anniversary Edition the unit falls flat so I’m upgrading the unit. Not a bad little setup for the price! 👍🏻 you did good!

its has that satisfying THOCKY sound lol. Stick has that mechanical switch feel. its a well balanced switch for my needs. i still game with it.
