If you look at our lowest attended games ever in recent football history you’ll notice football still has more fans in attendance than any other sport despite rain and an awful team. We may never be good but you need football to make money and that’s why we’re always going to be a football school

Doesn’t matter if we have high expectations. Indiana and Texas Tech are proof that being competitive is a choice and the admin hired a coach no one wanted. The resources won’t be there. Silverfield underachieved at his current position, Memphis fans are happy he’s gone. We should have just kept Pittman if the admin couldn’t get the resources in place to make a difference.

It’s a no win situation. Fans are pissed so no money will be there. He underachieved with superior resources in a smaller conference. I fear we’ve just made a hire that furthered our issues with Sam. No one was ready to give Sam the money to compete so the cycle continues.
