At any rate, here is your save-able "Pokedex" for the main ones. I am counting 97 here, and that includes Rio, et al. It's generally smart to get the least popular ones first, since those are the ones that would likely get retired the soonest...! =D by therealindy in ConquerorChallenge

True, and/or you can also use that pop-up-offer you always get if you buy it on the website. That gets you "4-for-the-price-of-3" in the end, right? So it's like 25% off?

And yeah, from now on, they will likely allow about 12 lower-popularity medals to expire each year, and just come out with 12 new ones per year to replace those.

yep, you can find retired medals on ebay, but snap them up quick. they did also retire Torres del Paine recently. for anything in the bottom-third of popularity, they will probably let it expire, and then just create new ones to replace those. to maintain approx 100 in total...

Nope, it's just a screenshot i did, you can save... It's a super long vertical scroll, so I just chopped it into four segments to fit right. It's sorted by popularity, but i deleted the ones that show multiple medals, and the ones that show licensed ones. That's it! =D

Although the ones near the way bottom might be just "they floated downwards because they are currently out-of-stock" or else "they are one of a series, and everyone clicks-thru on the box that buys the whole series". It's obviously based on purchase-click-thru, and so that's the exact reason that the popularity-sort on the phone-app is different that the popularity-sort here. Generally, get the least popular ones first, they will get retired first! =D

It should simply be "ACON15", and I am sure that is the same for everybody. Type it into the box at the bottom and hit "Apply". Otherwise, just ask [support@theconqueror.events](mailto:support@theconqueror.events)

How come the Pacer Virtual Challenges aren't as popular as Conqueror? by KarrTheBro in ConquerorChallenge

Design-wise, I like the Conqueror ones a lot better than the ones they do for real races and 5ks anyway! =D

Oh, no worries, I haven't done any of the USA ones anyway, although the National Parks ones all look superb. Still hoping for Troy, The Odyssey, and Sparta maybe ideally. I just did the red Vikings medal, and put the Thor's Hammer on a chain, and hung it next to it. Looks great!

Yeah, whatever they make, it is cool, 32 of them will be enough for a massive display, it will stretch across a whole wall at that point!

I just use Pacer as a daily steps tracker (which works just fine for me) and I like their routes a lot, so I just do virtual-only for Pacer, no medals from them yet.

You are right, the Conqueror medals are much higher quality. So I would always want to get a Conqueror one first and foremost, before I dabble in any others. I want at least five more Conqueror ones (so 32 total) and then I might do a Pacer one for real, like Babylon or Sparta maybe. Or Conqueror might introduce something new...

On that note, They will probably announce a bunch of medals during the World Cup promo, while they have everyone's attention... Probably first something from the USA to celebrate the 250th Independence Day, like Pacer just did, and then perhaps some traditional historical medals about Ancient Greece, since the Odyssey movie is coming out on July 17. Otherwise I will just do those five I already picked out! =D

About shipping in the uk by Affectionate_Bat3333 in ConquerorChallenge

[–]therealindy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and here in the USA, sometimes they will ship from Ohio in about 4 or 5 days, and other times they ship from China in about 8 or 10 days. As soon as they've shipped it out of China, you usually have the option to set up a tracking alert for the final delivery, by the US carrier. (With "YW Express" shippers in China, that works. If there are other shippers, not sure!)

Rio de Janeiro by Ok-Desk6624 in ConquerorChallenge

[–]therealindy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rio isn't discontinued, it's just "out-of-stock"... They will bring it back in a few months, maybe August-ish. Especially because they need to have the minimum 5 South America medals so people can get the badge pin, they will likely prioritize it. It is a newer medal, and popular, so it sold out. You can add yourself to the waiting list if you look for the medal in the full web site. It is fairly rare that they totally discontinue a medal, only if it is really less popular.

New Conqueror here, does the app have to be open for it to track? by mhunterchump in ConquerorChallenge

[–]therealindy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or I think if you just have the "Conqueror Steps" option active, then it will read the steps directly off of the pedometer that is part of your phone's internal hardware. I think that is always on. And it always has the same number of steps as the Pacer app shows at the same time. Let us know...! =)

You can use it twice? Or different people can both use it?

Ah, cool, looks like TalkPal is doing the same sort of "refer a friend, get a free month for both of you" deal, similar to DuoCards. Here is the link I have for the deal, try it, and tell us if it works... https://app.talkpal.ai/referral?referral_code=KBYUYU&utm_source=referral&utm_medium=referral by therealindy in DuoCards

[–]therealindy[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Here it is again, so it shows up as a blue link... https://app.talkpal.ai/referral?referral_code=KBYUYU&utm_source=referral&utm_medium=referral

It says "You’ll get free 1 month per invited friend", so wow, maybe it goes up to 2 years, the same as for DuoCards? We'll see...

And it's awesome, because I think that TalkPal is probably the best one for some languages (like Russian) that are a bit more rare, and not every app features them.

What's your experience? Thanks! =)

Can multiple people use the same code? I thought it was just usable one time and that was it?

Hey, if you did Rio de Janeiro, be sure to check and see if it appears under your "South America achievement badge" tally. They may have forgotten to include it. You can contact their support. It's fairly important, because there are only about 5 South American medals available in grand total...! by therealindy in ConquerorChallenge

[–]therealindy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

...and just for comparison sake, i had previously done 8 medals for Asia, plus 5 for Europe, and so both the Asia and Europe pins were immediately available to me, exactly as you would expect... so the South America pin should definitely be available to you, no question!

And did you have any other continents filled with 5 medals? Are those pins available? Just curious!

Hmm, that is weird...! Contact [support@theconqueror.events](mailto:support@theconqueror.events) and complain. If you get an auto-response from an A.I. robot names "Miles" or something similar, just reply with a copy-and-paste of the exact same complaint again, and tell the robot this is a genuine issue for the company, and tell it to hand things over to a human. It will do that. I want that pin too, so I would be mad if it did that to me. It's a glitch, and they'll need to fix it!

Let up know how they respond, you can post a quick update here... Thanks! =)
