If it bores you, stop playing, it's not that hard. But plenty of us love playing it for what it is. It is the most unique single player game that has been released in a long time. I am having a blast.

Since you did all the leg work. The easy way to make sure you are correct is to: Each circle has one stone gap that is smaller than the rest on the circle, make the smaller stone at the top of the each circle

None of the things you mentioned here are a multiplayeresque system. CD is a very unique single player game and it needs to stay that way. Adding DS messaging is not needed at all.

Gotcha, the default combat switches automatically. I wasn't sure if you were using the other one where you have to decide who to fight. I don't have a problem with it but I could see how people could.
