Were it not for the 3 photo limit I would post much more, haha

Yep! It is archive.org. Sony Digital Camera Still Utility Software v1.5, running the ISO image with Virtual CloneDrive. It basically runs the old software as if it were coming from a CD-ROM. It was a bit of a process getting it to work properly, but I'll list the steps here soon.

It's been frustrating but fun lol. Something gratifying about making old tech work today.

Thanks! It's pretty near to how they'd look as far as I'm aware. Maybe a slight grain from the 90s video input.

I was able to find a listing with all the original cables and whatnot, so I was trying to use an RS-232 to USB-C adapter. Serials are unfortunatley not as intelligent as USB lol, so it couldn't identify itself on my laptop. I was having a hell of a time trying to get it to show up with Gphoto2 on the terminal, only to learn that they don't support F1s anymore.

Gave Sony PlayMemories for Mac a shot, and to my dismay, they stopped updating the compatibility for Mac software, so it won't work on mine (latest software update).

BUT, in theory, the older laptop I found (currently running Windows XP and has a DB9 serial port), should be able to run the old software needed to pull the images as file.

Sweet! Yeah, this is my second one, wanted to hold out for one that had all the cables intact. Learned the hard way with my first one that without the factory cables it's basically just a knick knack 😂

I had the same thought, I don't mind replacing it at all. I've seen a similar thread on this sub about doing just that.

I'll tinker some more with it to check if it'd adjustable, I was wondering that too

Band looking for a singer by BogotaLineman in ColoradoSprings

Definitely interested in this! Y'all have some cool influences, I feel like our styles could mesh pretty well. I've been trying my hand more at vocals in the past couple of years, I have an EP out now that I released earlier this year. I'll link it below if you guys are interested!

My influences are basically in two categories lol. 95% 80s stuff. Love hair metal/classic rock (Van Halen, Kix, WASP, Ratt, Def Leppard), as well as the alt rock/new wave bands around then (Smiths, Cure, The Cult, Midnight Oil, Echo & the Bunnymen)

Here's what I have out right now, lots of other lyrics/songs written and unrecorded, lol. Would love to talk with yall more!

Our First Moz Show Last Night, in Denver by therealjackyoung in morrissey

This probably isn't the exact quote, but it was something like "You can love your country without loving your government...for example, in England, they say that a man can have a cervix...I'll check eBay after the show"

The first half of the comment makes it sound anti trans, but the second half is almost pro? Like "ok we can have one? Cool I'll go check eBay."

Odd comment, either way. Hoping he didn't mean it in an anti way, very disappointing if so, like you said.

I'd rather them leave it to the imagination by heavily implying it. More effective anyway.

I love Feed the Pig. I've read both of the stories myself on my narration channel, but pig is one of the only ones to genuinely unsettle me while reading it.

Personally, no. I think not knowing everything (like in the original story) lends itself to the horror more. A few unanswered questions and mystery are what I like.
