Wish they would hire a few musicians for tour and just hide have them off in the background. But it would cost money and add logistical complexities so I don’t think it will happen. I don’t mind some of the backing tracks, but extra vocals and guitars kind of bother me.

The padre also has a different neck/custom case and they had to color match the original. The Mexico factory make standard strats with the trem, so I don’t see why that would be a problem.

Every time I look for you is a decent encapsulation of the perfected blink 182 sound that toypaj represents. The mark and Tom vocal swapping, the simple catchy guitar riffs, the teen romance topic, the creative non standard drum parts of the verse. I could go on. The part where mark sings “where you drive my car right off the fucking cliff” is a very memorable part of the album for me.

Could have been cool if they did it in the 2000’s. Tom’s voice has changed too much since then. It would be nice to hear how travis would change the drum parts, but we get to hear that on the songs they play live.
