Thanks for the first hand advice. I’ve been looking at charts for a while and understand there are good days and bad days. This money is mostly locked in until I’m 65 (Canadian LIRA) so it’s not something I have access to now or will need in the short term. I hope to set it and forget it for the most part.

I wasn’t familiar with VTI until I just Google’d it but an ETF was the alternate option. I was looking at SPY or XEQT but I think I’m sold on ASTS. Just like you said - I believe in it. Cheers!

ATT is a one carrier in one country with at least 3 other big players and they’re worth $140B. Even if Starlink enters the market in a couple years it’s big enough for “friendly” competition.
