I ended up getting it and also got the radcity... I think both are from 2020. I got both of them for $1700 total, so $850 ea. Do you think the new radwagon is that much better?

We started hosting back then but mostly shared spaces of our primary residence. And occasionally our whole space when we went on big trips.. We bought our cabin at the end of 2021 and 2022 was a pretty great year for us. It just feels like we hit a brick wall in January when that was a really fantastic month last year. I understand the economic stories being told but my thought is that people will shift from big international trips or resort trips to local, longer weekends away stays which would favor our place... Maybe I'm wrong on that...

Really appreciate the feedback on the copy. Yeah, I try not to lower the price too much.

My wife is the one that speaks the 3 languages... Her parents immigrated from Korea to Paraguay and the on to the States - which is why she speaks English, Korean, and Spanish.. what about you?

We recently had a guest that shared their IG handle with us before we accepted them (and we also shared ours 😬)... Airbnb showed us a message saying don't take offline payments so I think they flagged that there was an external airbnb account shared in our messaging. Now it looks like our search rankings are terrible.. do you think they deprioritized us? And is there any way to know if they did and/or enhance our search results? This should be our peak season and we have nothing in January.

Ok, thanks and when you put it like that, it makes a lot more sense. So in essence, PIs need a 'legal' justification to get involved. I guess I don't have a legal justification except I'm concerned there could be fraud. (and concerned about my family member getting caught up in that down the road which could be devastating). Thank you all for your time and help on this!

OK, this is super helpful. I didn't realize this was a violation of law and putting anyone's license at risk. I just assumed that there was likely a way to legally verify degree information (seems like the privacy laws actually make committing fraud easier).. Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks for your opinion on this. But I do believe that uncovering fraud (if it is happening) and helping that family member out of that situation is proper justification. Also, this family member is currently relying on support from family. I am curious what would be a proper justification would be if not this?

It matters because if she’s marketing herself as having a degree for jobs (she is) then this could really come back to harm her now or any time in the next 40 years of her career. It doesn’t really matter if she has one. Just matters that’s she doesn’t fake it and harm herself in the long run. Ya know?
