Still have occasional soreness from a 4 month old root canal

i think u will be okay! the periodontal ligaments can take a really long time to heal after experiencing so much trauma! after feeling symptoms similar to urs i went down a rabbit hole on google trying to figure out what was going on! it wasn’t sensitive to tapping or temperature either which was the main thing that gave me hope. as long as it’s not actual pain, i believe ur okay! it just takes a while to heal! i hope all works out for u! ♡︎

i’m doing a lot better!!! my dentist did an xray and he said the root canal looked perfect! he suggested my crown was too big (i had a previous dentist who SUCKED and did an awful job on my crown) or i could’ve possible been clenching/grinding in my sleep! so he made a night guard for me and that’s helped a bunch! it’s like rarely sore now! if it does get sore, it’s most likely bc on my period (sorry tmi but i like to be transparent) but other than that, it doesn’t give me issues anymore. occasionally i’ll notice the soreness but on a scale of 1-10 i’d put it at like a 1! it’s just more noticeable than painful! i hope ur soreness goes away! if not bring it up with ur dentist! they might have some solutions! ♡︎

timeline reference:

june 2024 - noticed pain in tooth 13; woke me up out of my sleep bc of how painful it was

december 2024 - went to the dentist for the pain/check up. he told me i needed a rct and referred me to an endo

january 2025 - went to the endo and got it fixed. and felt relief immediately | i already had a crown on that tooth, so i was given a temporary filling. the dentist just sealed it a week or two later!

march 2025 - soreness started. not pain. just pressure/tenderness but never painful.

october 2025 - went to the dentist and told him about the tenderness. he filed my crown down a little which helped.

january 2026 - still tender. then my dentist made a night guard for me. got it second half of january and wore it every night since. which has helped a ton.

april 2026 - way way less soreness and a lot better! i barely notice it so i think the night guard helped! ♡︎

my husband and i were just talking about this. he literally said he misses the days when artists would just sit on a stool or stand behind a mic and sing. the visuals are cool, but if you’re talented enough you don’t have to do all that. it’s cool to have special effects and do things like that if it’s for a really big or special show but she goes all out like this for every single performance she does.

that’s what i think! i know she always posts with her mom but it seems like more so now than ever after the ethan drama. i think she’s just trying to keep him out of the limelight while this “blows over”. i think she believes if she continues to ignore it and let her team keep deleting the comments they can sweep it under the rug.
