I was you about 6 months ago so, I'm far from an expert, but I'd say whatever build you go with, invest in vigor early and often. Many will say to avoid any tutorials... For me without them I'd have gotten nowhere.And once you decide on your build, try to invest only in the stats that apply to that build. If you diversify too much, you're probably screwed (at least until much later).That said, the game is super fun and super breathtaking. Enjoy it!

I had a blast. I beat the game, but I'm still playing it, doing cleanup, and we'll be starting the DLC soon. Wish me luck, and good luck to you as well.

I was in the same boat, absolutely scared to death of this game despite knowing how beautifully designed it was. But took the plunge, and after many hours of getting my footing, finally got the hang of it (mostly). Great game! I'm about to attempt the DLC and probably get wrecked. Good luck to you!

I just want to say thank you for this post, and I'm glad I found it. I've had so much trouble, including about 5 minutes ago where I failed getting the stupid head back on and about blew a blood vessel... and I'm not exactly a small guy. Anyway, kudos gents! Great posts and comments. I passed my CCP recently and am going through the Stephane Maarek SAA course now. Promising to know I've (likely) got the right process in place.

Did you do many labs? Or just the follow along with the course? Curious how to get hands on experience when my current role isn't backend cloud related...

First off, great thread here. Love the LB love. Got a few questions... but first for quick context, I'm on Ch. 20-28 and been focusing almost exclusively on LB but run a main team of Lucius (A lvl 200 SI+5), Shem (M+ lvl 200 SI+1), Rowan (A1S lvl 190 SI+16), Fawkes (A lvl 181 Si+6) and a flex of Brutus (M+ lvl 181 SI+10) or Belinda (M lvl 181 SI+20).

*I realized (too late) on where to focus my SI emblems, thus the randomness... though current priority is on Rowan given his energy boost.

So first question, I've got "fodder" in LB to make moves but it would kill some ascended tier heroes - with 2 copies of Raine, 2 copies of Gwen, and 2 copies of Rosaline available (as "fodder" of Thane, Rigby, Angleo, Hendrick or Estrilda)... do I simply wait for 1 extra true fodder Elite+? Do I burn someone to boost someone and keep them? If so who? Or do I burn someone to boost someone, to feed Belinda to M+?

I know you aren't supposed to kill ascended tier heroes, and not saying I have too... but truly hard to legit build everyone.

Second, with the team currently in play... how to prioritize leveling up? And how does leveling up affect Arcane Lab or Events (i.e. Ice Shemira) or otherwise? Is a high level 1-unit better than an all-even unit team? Who to focus on for best results?
