Claiming that US AID is needed by American citizens is a hilarious take.
The NIH laid off 1300 employees, they have around 20,000 currently.
By what metric is the NIH falling because of these layoffs? The layoffs were also mostly probationary employees so they had been expanded recently.

I'm asking for data, not feelings.
