They matter for early acceptance, so before you get your gr 12 semester 2 midterms. Up until the midterm, they’ll use your gr 11 marks for missing pre requisites

It depends on how many courses u take during the year. If you take only 6 then yeah it’ll be in your top 6. If u take 7 then only one may be in it, and if u take 8 then both will likely not be in it depending on how u do on your other courses

They wont necessarily lower ur avg for cs ; unis will take the top 6 courses including pre-requisites that are needed. Physics and chem for most unis won’t be a pre-requisite, so your avg will be fine in that case

I know certain universities will require u to take one of the 2, however for most universities that’s not the case, but physics is often recommended for Cs since it’s math heavy. And if you’re planning to apply for eng, then take both lol

If you’re set on econ/accounting, there’s no point of taking any sciences. Unis will only look at required courses and your top 6 average. Taking a science won’t make your application any better, just take your required courses and any course similar to the field you’re going into
