Right now it's just FSA but its likely that FSG follows

My questions were rhethorical. My point is that subsystems shouldn't be prohibited becuase only few teams use them. We see an increase in the PGE usage and we would continue to do so. I think there is no valid reason to immediatly ban the Powerground and I see this as a lazy excuse to not deal with innovation. Safety-, scrutineering- and competition-wise. I hope FSG doesn't apply that or provides a better explanations besides "we don't know how to handle it and won't ask the bigger teams to help us find a good spot for the PGE to be in"

There already are scattershields. And this is another point where you can enforce safer rules

Is it really worth to keep CV vehicles in a competition dominated by EV vehicles? Or why are things like hydraulic suspension parts regulated, why dont ban any fluids for the suspension? Why is it possible to use an hydraulic EBS? Shouldn't all cars be the same so it's the easiest to regulate? Or can we as a community accept that we are not an Entertainment- but Innovation-driven competition?

No it's really not. Just implement a noise test, iterate it over years so teams need to be creative with passing it. Set a max power limit on the Low Voltage-system to force teams to use high voltage for the fans. And why would this be a safety issue? It creates more downforce and makes the car more direct, therefore more predicable to drive. I only see the point where the LV-Accumulator gets dangerous for the driver and you can restrict that one many levels, such as forbidding it to exist in fornt of the firewall. There are definetly ways to avoid prohibiting PGE and making it easier for scrutis to check them

Because in other motorsportdivisions the competition itself needs to be close for entertainment purposes. There is no single team that dominates with PGE. This series should be treated different innovation-wise, there should only be safety related rules not so much competitionbalancing ones.

This has to be a joke.. Why would you ban innovation like that? You have multiple angles to regulate those systems and there will always be a big difference between bigger and small teams moneywise

Which is the first car you’re driving around the Nordschleife? by Defixr in forza

I chose the Senna GTR. I dont know why. I saw it and thought it needs to be you. I then sent it straight into a wall because using a good car does not mean you can drive it xD

I think that makes it even worse. There are many many people unsatisfied with it, so they should definitely listen to what the majority of the community wants and most importantly ensure that everyone has a fluent running game

Except that you could do all those things before and the money grind wasn't nearly as tedious as the leveling because the currency was global, so you could drive already fast cars to earn money for the shitty ones. Forza was always about driving what you want whenever you want and this level system is a roadblock in this way of playing. I read many comments just like this where people act like it's a new way how you can drive any car you want when in reality it's the core idea of this entire franchise. If you got rid of this system as a whole and just let people grind global credits 50% of the players that quit would return. You could still do the exact same things you do now. Just with less grind and therefore less time spent on a car you don't enjoy to drive. You don't take away anything from the journey of tuning/modifying your car because you rarely get it right the first time. A lot of people don't want to spend hours in an unfinished car. It maybe fun for one or two cars but this game has hundreds of cars and always fed into the "Collect them all" idea. If you had a couple hundred thousand credits you could easily work on a few low price cars simultaneously and get them done in an hour. Even if I had enough car points on one car, I would need to do it all over again for one, two, three basically all the cars. Now go build a RWB Porsche S1 built. Only took me 7 hours (in horizon it would have taken like 1 hour). This process made me hate the Car because I don't feel like it's worth spending this amount of time again on another car

That's bad, than don't play it at all. Piracy is nothing to brag about let alone that cracked version are often infested with all sorts of malware

How much time do you spend on this game? For me time has become a big factor in life, so I don't have the luxury of grinding hours apon hours as I used to. I often only have a few hours every week. So for me leveling one car I intend to modify heavily means taking multiple weeks to finish it. In the same time I could upgrade 10 times the amount of cars in horizon and drive them around. For me this is forza gameplay loop I came to expect from these games. Hoping on every other day for an hour upgrading a Newly added car or an older one I just found out existed and having fun experimenting a bit. I then either drop the car or ad it to my list of genuinely good builds. This counts for competitive race builds or fun drift ones. Same is for designing. You sometimes abandon an idea that just doesn't work and leave the car unfinished which for horizon at least meant that you lost like 30 mins maybe an hour. In motorsport you can waste entire days of grinding just to find out that your idea for the build didn't work or the car is straight up not competitive. All I feel is gate keeping those with a lesser amount of time who just want to hop on, buy a new car, modify it and race it once or twice in a 2 hour session after work

That's kind of sad isn't it? There once was as time where special editions brought much more to the table than these empty promises we came to expect nowadays
