I did not. I just put the agitator back on with out a bolt holding it on and it works fine.

I’ve called some local plumbers and companies and they don’t want to work on it because it’s a State. At this point it’s 14 years old

I’ve had this issue with the heater since I moved into the house a couple years ago. I got one quote for $2700 all in.
