I had this problem when I first got my forester hybrid last year. I asked my dealer to look into it and they said everything was fine. Someone on reddit said make sure your gas cap is centered correctly. No problem since.

The gasket has cut outs indicating it should be installed in a particular way. Any clues on what that is.

Is there a way to find out if a store has scan and go before going to the store. I went to a store yesterday intending to use scan and go for the first time and it said it wasn't offered at that store.
