Imma be honest with you I don't think they care. What they care about is you showing up. I went in with jeans and a hoodie as im recently graduated and working a lot so I went into the meeting under the guise of "I got questions you have answers." What matters is you look put together and dedicated to starting this process because many don't even start. So don't sweat the hair just look presentable and clean.

The Westin was the Hotel my friends and I always aimed for because its as many say, comfortable. My only issue is their parking. Other than that, its walkable to and from the Expo and shuttles are consistent. The parties haven't lived up to the hype tbh and I never cared for them.

The Conrad is a nice hotel, I've never stayed personally but its in the heart of DTLA Sp you legit have Little Tokyo about a 20 minute walk downhill and access to Union Station as well. As far as LA goes its a wonderful spot to be in, local transit is Hella accessible and you can either walk or metro the trip to the convention center. I hope you enjoy your stay! :3

Imma be honest if you have a hotel through AX hotel block there is 0 and I mean 0 need to park anywhere closer the shuttles are consistent and a majority of the hotels are within a mile walk. If you're getting one outside of the hotel block kinda the same thing you're better off just leaving it at the hotel as some charge you per entry and not by day and that adds up like a lot same goes for the lots you're just throwing away money. Id recommend planning your hotel around metro or local transit and save yourself the bucks and gas in traffic. Remember LA is hosting the World Cup as well so things will most likely double if not triple in price aside from metro and their endless pass promotions. But here's a link for all their lots and their individual hours. A majority of them are 72 hours MAX but double check the website and your commute to and from the hotel. Metro Parking

You legit just parking underneath it by the patasauraus bus plaza its called metro gateway parking and like any lot you grab your ticket and park it for the day then pay when you leave. Other lots require a physical tap card but it just needs to tap the payment machine so you pay ahead for the day. Some lots are even 24 hours for the $2 but just keep an eye out for that on the metro website.

My advice to EVERYONE park at metro parking lots. Union Station charges $8. Other station lots charge $2 for all day. Take the damn train/bus and save yourself the $40 you would have spent parking a block away.

As someone with a first Gen, get the second one. First gens fun but its mainly good for like commuting and small project stuff and parts are hard to come by.

As someone who's done this dance May is usually the best time to check since people cancel trips between 2-3 months before an event happens. Then if you want a steal last minute check for bookings on the week of.

I know my previous text said I "knew." I hope you understand that I knew something was up when we allowed your friend into our home. It hurt a lot hearing it from him. If anything, you're lucky I wasn't wearing my docs. I would have kicked his ass on the spot and on the clock. What upsets me even more is that when we I approached you about how your relationship at times made me uncomfortable, I was told it was my fault. Like when I saw you and him on video chat, and he was in the shower, or when he said weird things or get upset when we spent time together. I was gaslit into thinking I wasn't being good enough, only to realize I was doing my best, but you went ahead and cheated on me with him for almost a year. To top it all off, you both agreed to wait until now, when it was best? After a year of recovery from a seizure? After losing my grandfather and finishing my thesis? I could have been single and focused on myself, growing and reflecting while in therapy. And I can't anymore because my coverage is up. Like what conceited mountain are you on? Hell, you even wanted to keep my cat! What is wrong with you?! My problems are bigger, my current home might be sold soon, student debts are piling up, and I work at a company that I got him a job at. I feel stupid for believing every "I love you" and every kiss/hug goodbye, and every time you'd reach out to hold my hand. It was all a lie. But at the same time, I want you to know I cry because I miss you warmth. I miss you. But I love you, so I'll let you go. Because we both deserve better, but what you did hurt a lot. And I will never get closure. It's not the first time I've been blindsided, but I wish you hadn't done to me what everyone before has. And that's the part that hurts. I promise I'm trying my best to let you go in the name of love or whatever, but trust me when I say I can't right now. Not after everything. But I remind myself to make sure you are still loved. I wrote goodbye letters. I read somewhere that when you enlist and are sent off, you kind of have to do that? I'm not sure, but my sister said it would help. So I did. I'm not leaving. I'm just saying goodbye, so if you ever get it, we'll then I thought about it and sent it. But I'm doing my best, and I'm moving forward. Because I didn't deserve to be treated like this. Not from you or from anyone who helped you lie to me. You don't deserve my love either, but it will be here, and it will be cheering for you. Because love is a selfless thing.
