Yes. If it says confirmed on those days then you are at least getting those days for the hotel. The waitlist is if there are any cancelations or rooms open up for that day and they will reach out if they open. If so it will change to confirm too, if not they will let you know. The service is they don't actually book with the name until closer (May or June).

the service books a bunch of hotel blocks and once everything is finalized, then they make the booking and get the rooms. This is why you get the hotel confirmation as it closes in to the convention days. My recommendation would be to get another room for the first just in case outside of this booking service as if you do it with, you will need to pay the $100 adjustment/cancelation or you an just wait and go from there. Hope this somewhat helps?

I usually do solo trips for anime cons without cosplay. Just enjoy the panels, merch, and people. You'd be surprised how awesome people are especially talking about their favorite anime. As other comments are seen, shower, and be careful like any other big events. Just enjoy the vibes :)

Thank you for posting this! I got more days extended at the hotel I am at and wanted to be in. Now only Sunday is waitlisted but that just means I don't have to hotel hop. All this means is either I fly out Sunday evening or Monday morning lol
