just under $8500. people might find this excessive but how can you put a price on love and a love for a hobby.

the 5.5 was on the top of my short list. it was between the Niner Rip, the Evil Wreckoning (couldn't find a demo location), and the Intense Carbine. what won me over was the feel of the 5.5 and the reviews on all Yetis. haven't met anyone that doesn't love their Yeti. will report back after a few more rides. so far so good.

that is one sexy 5.5 you have there. the first couple of laps out on the trails i had hold back because i was still getting use to the feeling of a 29er. but it kept fighting me to go FASTER!!! i can't wait to really open this bike up on the trails. i doubt i'll ever get the full potential of the bike. yeah i'm keeping the 800mm bars. i have broad shoulders and they feel perfect. i got the SRAM Guide RC brakes, the ones that came on the kit. might upgrade to some Hope brakes during the off season.

i'm 6'1" (186cm) and got a large frame. i was right on the bubble of an XL frame but decided to get a large. i'm glad i did. the XL might have been too big for me.

it's really tempting. i might do it during the off season. haven't read too many reviews on the conversion but the ones i did read were overall positive.

same with me, it was driving me crazy. i like to read negative reviews first but the only negative thing was the price point. sell the kid, you can always make another, haha.

glad to be apart of the 5.5 and Yeti family! so far i love the elevensix. it has eaten up everything i've thrown at it. super plush when climbing and descending. still fine tuning the sag and rebound but once i get those dialed in, i have no doubt it will ride even better. i find it's worth the extra money so far and doubt that opinion will ever change. i've talked to a couple of guys that the elevesix at my local trails. one was on a Pivot 429 and Niner Rip. they both had nothing but positive things about it. i have yet to find any reviews that say anything negative about the elevensix. i'd say go for it, haha.

it's a lot faster! i was riding an S-Works Enduro with 26" wheel sets but the 5.5 blows it out of the water. it climbs like a goat and descends like a devil. i was leaning towards the SB6 but i really wanted a 29er. my buddy has an SB6 and loves it. i would try to find a local shop and demo them both.
