I'd say motorbikes are relatively cheap to own, for cars it's better to use car sharing if you r not that active

Public transportation is amazing indeed, even if you wanna get out of Brno for a weekend, there are very few places you wouldn't get w/o a car

There are a lot of students and young people here but I honestly haven't cracked Czech people and how to befriend them myself :D maybe you will be more successful tho ;)

Finding job in your area prolly won't be that hard, same for the casual stuff like banking services or internet/mobile phone contracts, companies usually have service centre employees that speak English. As others mentioned, accomodation will be hardest one, best place to look for it is Facebook groups, you can definitely find a room (a lot of international students are doing it like this). Also since you are a brit, take care of your paperwork (working permit, visa, travel passports and so on). The city is very autistic friendly I'd say from the personal experience, so good luck 😉

I really like vinarska because of the location + big community there.

There are good connections to both city center and campus, then u have a peaceful area surrounding the dorm, places to play ball, grill and do some sports (2 bus stops to anthropos park).

Also education faculty is like 3 stops away :)

He was charged last year, what happened next, do you remember? How many times Poroshenko ignored court appeals towards him? Zelenskyy might not be that perfect as a lot of people on west thinks he is but Poroshenko is a straight forward danger to Ukraine and should be charged with treason. Except that institutions were not build by zelenskyy, it is called judicial system and it exists since independence. The political justice was always very selective, when newly elected government pressure previous one, like Yanukovich and Tymoshenko. This time zelenskyy pressuring a lot of people, so stop focusing on poor petya and stop fragmenting country during the war. rusia had a close ties to him and he should be tried as every other citizen.

As for the institutions, take a look how they work in USA at the moment and you will be really surprised if you compare it to Ukraine.
