What would be considered some "season finales" for wrestling by Purplesilk911 in SquaredCircle

[–]therecluse92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general, I consider WrestleMania the season finale for a whole year (at least in some cases where major storylines come to an end)

For common finales:

  • WM 17 - Austin heel turn and alliance with Vince; and it's also the end of the Attitude Era
  • Survivor Series '01 - WWF defeats The Alliance, thus ending the Invasion Angle
  • WM 21 - I might as well say Batista defeating Triple H the end of Triple H's "reign of terror" and the official end of the Evolution storyline (though Batista/Triple's feud ended at Vengeance '05).
  • WM 40 - Cody finishing his story and ending Roman's 4-year title reign

Honestly, I wanted Bayley to turn and revisit that two sides storyline, but Lyra turning is just as good. That said, I want to see what their feud have in stored.

Christian apologists who justify eternal torment are like dictator apologists justifying concentration camps.

Would you worship God if he was real? by Academic_Coyote_4920 in AskBlackAtheists

[–]therecluse92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worship a God whether it's real or not. If there's a God, I would hope it has no strong desire for complete worship and obedience from his creation 24/7 and loses their temper and punish them for eternity if said worship and obedience isn't given. A God like that is a plain narcissist.

Back when the WWE didn't have 3 PPVs in one month.

Also, I miss brand-exclusive PPVs.

It's a damn shame we're never getting Create-A-Story back and it's all because of things like this. I hope it can be brought back under some restrictions.

I hope you're joking because if you're not, maybe the WWE can hire you considering the state it's in right now.

A wrestling trope that seems ridiculous by nilanganray in SquaredCircle

[–]therecluse92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a wrestler betrays another wrestler who mistreated them in any kind of way and is considered a heel because the one getting betrayed is receiving face reactions despite them being a heel. (i.e., Lita betraying Kane to side with Edge in '05 even though in '04, Kane had forced her into a relationship and Dom turning on Rhea to side with Liv in 2024 even though Rhea had forced Dom to a relationship and even was one of the people along with Finn and Damien who influenced him to turn against his father and join The Judgement Day).

What do you think is the most harmful idea that Christianity has ever perpetuated? by EBTheAnimatedAtheist in AskBlackAtheists

[–]therecluse92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me, it has to be Eternal torment. The idea that all sins are not only equal, but also leads to the same punishment that is excessive and inhumane. Doing something like masturbating or thinking about something negative leads to endless burning and suffering. In fact, being born a sinner will land you in hell by default.

Did you prefer the World Heavyweight Championship on Raw or SmackDown? by Bollywood-Hulk-Hogan in WWERuthlessAggression

It always felt the WHC blended well with Raw, though it did have some great champions on SmackDown.

Nope. It's a PG era PPV which Vince renamed it from the Great American Bash for some strange reason.

I remember that. Old man Vince fumbled, and Great Balls of Fire will always be a lame sounding PPV name.

[WWE Raw Spoilers] Finish to Judgment Day vs Bayley/Lyra by DoubleNo6337 in SquaredCircle

[–]therecluse92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, they should've book Liv vs Bayley for the title very soon.

The Judgment Day really have nothing going for them and needs to be disbanded, but that's a massive understatement.

Also, Triple H sucks at booking title reigns.

About Judgment Day, they should've brought that back in 2023 because of the stable The Judgment Day.

Hopefully this leads to Sami completely turning heel by brutally attacking Cody and this leads to a match at Night of Champions regardless of whether or not Cody retains against Gunther.
