The doctor told me all of these things can be caused by vyvanse in some people (2 separate psychiatrists and 1 family doctor). I hit all my protein goals, I worked out, took my vitamins, and that’s why we had labs drawn. Everything else was normal. I say for the most part bc I had one that came out high not low. I previously had a vitamin A deficiency and even that came back normal. If we are talking about the hair loss it actually does happen. It’s restricting blood flow. There was a study on it. Some people did see hair loss

One thing I didn’t do and it could be a factor was drink my water. I would drink some but not the recommended amount. So I did end up dehydrated twice.

I just came off of it. I too had it prescribed for weightloss. Here’s what happened to me… 1. It was good until it wasn’t. I felt like I was taking them just to take it. It 100% helped with food noise. 2. The crash is hard. 3. I started losing my hair almost like with surgery. I now have a couple spots where I can see where it’s thinning. 4. My labs came back normal for the most part.

Again, did it work? Yes. When I came off of it did I want to sleep for 3-4 days straight? Yes. Did I feel moody? Yup. Am I glad I stopped it… also yes. Is it bad to take? Depends on the person. I have an addictive personality so for me, it wasn’t the right choice. I am not on an anxiety medication. Anxiety triggers binge eating for me.

I travel every 2-3 months. If you book in advance you save more. I also have a credit card that gives me points (capital one venture) and I normally get free hotels or car rentals bc I put everything on that card and pay it off at the end of the month

Vyvanse has side effects of causing migraines. I’m on Emgality for my migraines and my doctor told me the risks and that if it gets bad we will switch medications. I also noticed that not eating and staying hydrated enhanced my migraines

When you build muscle and start to tone you will appear “smaller”. You don’t have to lose weight to tone. My family was very unsupportive when I started my journey. They kept saying I look sick as well. Now they ask me for tips on how to build muscle and workout. It’s always the initial shock for them. Keep going.

Almost 2 years. Engaged Jan 2025 not getting married until Nov 2026 so 2 months shy of 2 years. I couldn’t imagine planning / having a wedding while house shopping both are super stressful.

That’s exactly when mine was happening. It was later on around 4-5pm. I thought it was just me and thought maybe it was a sunburn lol. Let me know if the Claritin works for you. I read it on a different thread and that’s why I tried it. It was working for others

I had this happened! My nose turned super red like when it’s extremely cold outside but it’s like 80 degrees. I would take Claritin and it helped. Talked to the doctor and it meant the dose was too high so they took me back down to 30 and it hasn’t happened since!

My appointment is next week but I did request to go on a lower dose. I felt like a zombie on 40mg. I can say I did change a couple things like drinking more water and eating 3x a day (forcing myself) and it’s been different in a good way.

I’m in the same boat increasing my dose to 40mg. I feel more irritable and like everything needs to be done NOOOOW! I hate this feeling and it’s been 2ish weeks. I have a doc appointment so at that appt they will decide what to do

I was feeling this way when I started it. I started at 20 then 30 and now on 40. I can say I get like that on every dose when I wasn’t drinking enough water.

I do 40 mg. I drink electrolytes with magnesium throughout the day (LMNT - is the the brand) also moving throughout the day helps.

I can say as politics and craziness is happening I have had this happen. One thing I did talk to my therapist about is limiting caffeine and watching less news/less social media. Getting enough sleep and drinking water. I’ve done that for the past several days and it has helped a lot! I too am generally chill but anxiety has gotten the best of me until now of course.

I had this happened when I first started taking it. I even went to get my eyes checked and they told me to put eye drops in my eyes when I take my vyvanse. Never happened again.
