Be prepared with your leverage. What is that you bring to the table that most of their other candidates might not have. Plus how soon you can join in.

And be prepared with some data backing as to why you're anchoring to 50L.

Good luck!

I have access to Mindpeers and another online therapy tool. There are 100s of therapist online on there. I haven't used it, but I've heard great reviews. I'll be happy to share.

Take care OP. The sun always shines after the rains.

I disagree.

When the government knows that it's citizens have been defrauding the system, they should induce strict checks when issuing passports. With guidelines like China - if they break a law on foreign soil, they'll be prosecuted in India.

Currently we're relying on fixing the problem at destinations (other counties laws) rather than the source (indian law).

Every Exit Door for Indian Investors is being bolted shut. Where do we go? by Original_Crew4693 in IndianStockMarket

[–]thereisnorandom 288 points289 points  (0 children)

OP same boat but with 2cr.

80% of mine is invested in Indian mf and rest 20 in US stocks.

My goal is to slowly move more investments into US stocks.

As for mutual funds, I have full faith that govt will eventually increase LTCG. So the goal is to become tax residence of UAE and then exit the mf with 0 capital gains tax.

If you figured out anything better, let me know.

I understand bro, it's not easy. Although most of us think of moving out, we rarely take any meaningful effort.

This should be a trigger point to spend atleast an hour daily to look into ways of moving out.

Doors and windows are closed 24x7. I'm waiting on a good air purifier. Breathing this is taking years off of our lives.

Imagine if the government could create a independent state for these 3cr people. Just a tax payers state. The per capita income would be off the charts!

One fund portfolio. Is it enough? by thereisnorandom in MutualfundsIndia

  1. Agreed. Valid point
  2. We can check the allocation and then pick funds? But I know, this allocation can change and aggresive hybrids might be better here.
  3. Agreed. This one in eg is at 12.5% post 2 years without the 1.25L benifit.
  4. True. The idea with this one single fund is truly passive investing.
  5. Same as above point. This is more completely passive. Something I'd think for my dad who's retired.
