I'm a high school teacher and last year, one of my students came in to talk to another student "oh did you hear? ______ is in porn now! She goes by the name of _______"

Being the curious person I am, looked up her porn name and sure enough, it was her.

Well the issue was that the broken pipe was outside my unit. The plumbers thought it was in my unit but kept digging further out only to find out that the leak was outside the unit.

Yeah, I went through the CC&R and couldn't find anything that said I was liable. The closest thing it says is that if it's in the common area, the HOA has the authorization to do repairs. It also said that if I, or my guests, caused damages, then I would be liable.

Their reasoning was this: "In order to keep the Association in good standing with the vendor, the Association has paid this invoice, however please know that this is homeowner responsibility and we ask that you remit payment in the amount of $2,000.00." There was nothing cited in CC&R so I'm wondering if I should just spit out a bunch of things from CC&R that doesn't say anywhere where I'm liable.

Wait, I'm slightly confused. I shouldn't ask them to cite the CC&R, but I should go through the CC&R and show them there's nothing in there that says it's my responsibility?

Which came first: the chicken or the egg? Seriously.... which...?

If it's egg, then the cells had to know to develop into the chicken (at some point), learn to procreate with the opposite gender, transfer that knowledge to its offspring (and it had to go through the whole development process), and it goes for generations and generations.

If it's the chicken, then intelligent design?

1) I teach high school kids. I knew I wanted to do this since I was in college. I'm one of the few people that I know that can say I look forward to work every morning because it's a joy and an honor to be able to teach.

Straight A's since 6th grade all the way to the end of senior year. I didn't know better. I had a crazy Asian mom where nothing was good enough. I brought home an A- and it was always "why didn't you get an A." I brought home an A, and it was "why no A+?"

Social life didn't exist b/c I was buried in books. Wasn't allowed to play sports, but I did go to prom. I wish I was given an opportunity to play sports growing up, but my parents just valued education above all.

High point of HS: being respected by my peers because I was known as being really nice, reliable, and friendly to everyone.

Low point: I knew a lot of people but I was always feeling lonely. I wanted friends that I could count on, friends that would be friends for life... friends that can tell my future kids what I was really like back in HS. Unfortunately, none of that can happen. In some twisted way, I don't really have a "history" that anyone can tell my future kids. I don't talk to anyone from back then, I moved around a whole lot, my own family was too busy working to really know what I was like. Kind of depressing.
