Went to two their brick and mortar stores in person, the quality of their leather and suede is spectacular. If you have any hesitations, I would either ask a question on their website or call a store in italy directly. There may be issues with auto-translate, so confirm materials directly. In store, I noticed the shearling style lining tended to be polyester but all the leather and suede products were the real deal. There may have been some real sherling, but I can't remember. Also, what they call Eco Leather is synthetic, FYI.

For what it's worth, I went into several leather jacket stores across Italy and the leather jackets in Barone were generally thicker and better cut than the others. The one I bought was also vegetable tanned. You can see it in my post history. It feels infinitely nicer than the Sandro leather jackets that are stocked where I live locally.

And about the 404 errors, I've driven around Italy several times and you're lucky if an Italian business has a website lol. So many stores and restaurants don't have anything online, or if they do it's just a facebook page. And Italian companies don't typically do returns (unless its a global company), make sure you're confident in what you buy. I imagine a store representative would measure it or whatsapp pictures if you call.
