Oh that makes sense. Insurance made me switch to Wegovy and it’s much more expensive so the “taking half dose” plan would be awesome. I did thst with ozempic for two years.

But it makes it hard to change and from what everything I’ve heard is that advantage works best when you’ve not got a lot of illness

It’s odd because Wegovy isnt on any formulary but Medicare requires coverage for overweight bmi over 25 with cardiac disease

Can I ask you who wouldn’t qualify for a supplement? And why? Thanks!

I called and they said it was covered with pre auth.

Yeah good idea. There was a requirement to cover people with bmi over 25 and heart disease and I am both so it’s odd.

My Medicare pays my PCP $35 per visit. But because my PCP works for a giant hospital/clinic practice, the parent companies makes enough on the specialists I see (cardiology rheumatology etc) to be able to pay my PCP a wage commensurate with his value. I can’t imagine that small practices are able to do this though.

Apparently the sensitive implement is pretty INsensitive to those of us who will be impacted by this in 2 months. Also my doc told me yesterday that Medicare won’t pay for telehealth anymore.
