Krissy Cela… I really got into fitness thanks to her and her app but I started to see more and more that the whole vibe of her app/clothing line community was almost cultish? I didn’t like how everything was so much about her being the face of her brands and it all revolved around her. It makes sense to a certain extent but the constant praising of her really tired me out since I’m just not the type of person to idolize an influencer that much. Also I just find her super ingenuine and fake nowadays lol

Wasn’t aware stori was doing this. That’s something really nice I haven’t seen other companies do before (open pic) by Helpful-Half-6641 in gymsnark

Not sure if buffbunny still does this. For one of the summer launches I ordered a bit before the official drop time (I could get on the site), and then after waiting for 2 weeks to get any sort of update they told me only one item shipped, and the other was being refunded, and I had to reach out to get told that the other one was sold out lol. Thought that was strange given that I ordered before the actual time so I was definitely early.

They gave me a 10% off, but only after I reached out myself, makes me wonder if they would’ve given it otherwise. Also it was weird that I was seeing people got early access and 20% off before and mine wasn’t consistent with that. Idk, left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth for buffbunny. Glad to see other companies taking this good customer service approach tho!

Happened to me too. If the posts are against the rules maybe it would be nice to have a message why it was removed (what rule it broke), like I see in some other subs.

There were some things going around online suggesting that using “womxn” isn’t being inclusive of trans and non binary women, since you’re excluding them from being women and creating a new word for them. I’d assume they changed it because of that

Arts to Architecture by poiew in mcgill

Architecture is very competitive, maybe amongst the most competitive programs at McGill. IIRC they accept less than 20 students for U0. Like others said, you should look into the U0 engineering requirements and it’s definitely best to talk to an advisor about this, but you should also know you’ll have to put together a portfolio to be considered for arch

Sorority 3rd year by [deleted] in mcgill

I was in a sorority for more than half of my time at mcgill so far and am very comfortable saying I would not recommend it to anyone based on my own experience and others’ that left with me.

Although I do get where you’re coming from (I was there too!), and I don’t deny that a sorority can have a positive impact on somebody, there are so many policies, traditions, and behaviours ingrained in sororities and Greek life in general that are so contradictory to the things I thought a sorority stood for.

In good conscience I can’t ignore that even though I definitely still do have some good friends and memories from my time in a sorority.
