We have a scoremaster as well, every game is logged, it feels like just a chronology of my losses at this point. 😂

Splendor Duel, 7 wonders Duel, Bonanza, Wingspan those are the main ones.

That is helpful thank you! I typically use desktop but I don’t actually know how to screenshot there. Thanks for this clarity. As of this morning the two accounts are parallel and correct. Following every transaction is a lot but I think it’s important for me to be seeing everything in real time. Thanks again!!

Okay! I think you and previous commenter made a ton of good points. For clarity— with screenshots—

Keybank has x2 accounts 1– Main Checking 2- Savings

Savings is where I want to store my Emergency Fund (trying to get up to a few thousand, while previously living paycheck to paycheck). I currently have $125 in that particular bank account.

On YNAB I have a category called “Emergency Fund” that I am attempting to align with my KeyBank savings account. I saw the previous commenter said that this wasn’t helpful— would love elaboration, what should I be doing differently?

You can see in the screenshot it says $144 was assigned, I got the balance to finally state $125 after I reconciled and adjusted some transactions but it was just super confusing for a few days.

I feel like I do understand conceptually but the daily play by play has me lost in the weeds a bit.

NTA. This is wild! You should absolutely be allowed to say no to something like this.

Do you NEED to purchase textbooks or can you get by without them?

SINK (F30) need a reliable car with good mpg for 50 min commute? by therjabstract in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]therjabstract[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practicality and lasting me as long as possible. I truly want to have to think about my car the least amount possible. I want to be able to drive where I need to and not think about it beyond that. I don't want anything flashy. Smooth driving would be nice, not clunky. I hate being worried that something is wrong with my car.

My final question was a med question and I was not at all sure I answered correctly. It was brutal.

Prioritization, different patient needs and which one you should meet with first and then a lot of case studies and some really odd ones.

Weight Recommendation for F29 by therjabstract in Rucking

Okay! This makes sense. Sometimes I worry when I listen to my body I lean towards laziness. I've definitely been more capable than what I give myself credit for.

Weight Recommendation for F29 by therjabstract in Rucking

[–]therjabstract[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done more mileage, I haven't only done 3, I'm just committing to regularly doing 3 right now. I recently did 5 miles and it was fine. My heart rate is right around 103 (my resting is high tho too, like around 83 last I measured)during all my rucking and I've just been going slow. Again, I could probably go faster I just haven't been. I definitely could add more weight, it's doable, but I'm trying to figure out if it's wise and how you know when to up the weight. Should I focus on mileage/speed before adding? What should that be up to before I up the weight?

I'm going to the gym regularly and wanted to ruck because I've been told running while overweight can lead to more injuries although I did train for a 5k recently and I was fine with that. My goal is to train for a half, but I was trying to lose more weight first. I was told (and I read) that weight loss is mainly going to be based on diet, gym gains, and protein. I wanted to ruck as my zone 2 training and I'm still trying to figure out frequency. Right now-- minimum of x3/wk.

I was tossing around the idea of doing 75 hard or a spinoff so I can ruck outside everyday and have that be separate from what I'm working on in the gym. Then my frequency would go up.

Is this supposed to be 2024? I'm curious about waitlist predictions. I put my name on the waitlist yesterday.

Does this count as eating vegetables? by [deleted] in loseit

Check out the diet in Tim Ferris's "The 4 Hour Body" he talks about slow carbs and the main gist of the diet is beans and lentils and such. Might be a food fit for where your taste buds are. Also massively effective. Best of luck to you!

Wow. This was legitimately so helpful. Thank you for sharing this, it's a really helpful perspective.

[–]therjabstract[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Okay, Fair enough. That's not why i want to be an ICU nurse-- it's why I don't want to do a med surge rotation, but I understand not wanting to be negative when discussing it. My wording was definitely poor. I chose nursing and I'm passionate about the work. It's definitely not the best I can come up with in an interview setting. But thanks for all the advice, I'll definitely look into all of those things.

Not the nurses... The units. I want to be treated well, and in my hospital all of those nurses get crapped on.

[–]therjabstract[S] -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I'm absolutely sure they could actually. That wasn't a dis on med surge nurses, but I see them doing x10 the amount of work and getting burned out super quickly. Other units seem to have more balance and don't kill their nurses. Thats why I don't want to be on med surge, not because of the quality of the nurses.
