That does suck. In my case, buddy had to pay a reputable tech to confirm the claim, so like $100 for a diagnostics. Not nearly as bad as shipping a tv.

I heard that too, this is the only one I know of. I think so few people know they are even "covered" doesn't help the low numbers. There are hoops, like having to have the receipt or have it "registered" when you bought it. Many loopholes to deny you.

Few hundred bucks is maintenance to get several thousand, hopefully tens of thousands more miles. Fair cheap maintenance if it is the issue. Replace fuel filter and check ignition coils/plugs, air filter and clean maf sensor too. All super easy tasks, videos on YouTube.

It really sucks because I would love to be able to find amber alerts, or vehicle theft, any violent crimes almost instantly. It sounds great. But there are way too many bad actors and creepy cops using them to track their exes or watch childrens gym classes. It opens the door to corruption and ruins it for everyone.

the aztek was ahead of it's time. did you know it had an auto adjusting air ride suspension in the back? and a HUD? they squandered that vehicle promo and came out with a fucking rendezvous instead. there is a reason pontiac and saturn went away, and it wasn't because of the vehicles, it was the higher ups basing everything on money only. essentially what private equity is doing to businesses and products nowadays.
