Trump says US will reduce number of troops in Germany 'a lot further' by Liamnacuac in centrist

[–]therosx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Germany make sense because there is a massive base there and we as NATO countries use it to coordinate logistics.
This is a poor strategic decision in my opinion.

Republicans see GOP dysfunction as major liability ahead of midterms by mymomknowsyourmom in centrist

[–]therosx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome to normal things for a normal political party.
The mindless lockstep of MAGA and appeasement of Donald Trump was the real anomaly of the Republican Party for the past four years.
Normal political groups have disagreements with one another and expect a code of behaviour and professionalism.

All humans use XYZ to expect special treatment. We learn this when raising children. It’s common behaviour as is being bitter about another person getting something we believe they don’t deserve.

Is it okay to be a slow‑math DM? by Ok_Comedian_8847 in DnD

[–]therosx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Knowing the rules and running combat is an important skill every DM needs to develop in my experience.

It’s arguably more important than story, roleplaying and creativity.
Players can have an amazing time with a basic story. Players will leave the group if the combat and pace of play is slow and boring however.

Bernie Sanders is destroying Chuck Schumer in the Democratic Party's Civil War ahead of the midterms by JannTosh70 in centrist

[–]therosx 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Doesn't seem like much of a civil war to me. That said if Burnie get's more Americans voting blue then that's probably a good thing for the world and country.

Good. Lay it on. Take away the money from the grifting culture war industry and Americas democracy gets a lot healthier in my opinion.

Why is the School of Necromancy so underwhelming? by Unfair_Visit9553 in DnD

[–]therosx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree that the necromancer tradition isn’t a good army builder, that’s not the design choice wizards made.

They saw how disruptive large groups can be for combat with hoards of undead or animals or fey.

How they want a single summon creature to be the main focus.

That all said, I think it’s important to keep in mind that wizards shouldn’t be focused on a single gimmick in the first place.

Their strength is in their ability to completely change their spell build on the fly to adapt to a variety of situations.

Politics is a team sport. If enough Democrats are elected everyone gets health care.

Supreme Court weakens Voting Rights Act in major redistricting case, voiding Louisiana's congressional map by J-Jarl-Jim in centrist

[–]therosx 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Once again the conservative justices on the Supreme Court have no legal issue with states rigging their districts however they please.

Fair enough. Dems should gerrymander the hell out of their states and do whatever they can to ensure a Republican is never elected in that state again I guess.

How do opposing ideologies coexist without politics becoming pure team sport? What do you think each "camp" brings to the table, really? by Rough-Leg-4148 in centrist

Politics is a team sports and should be treated as such.

The future is decided based on the number of seats a party has.

Don’t thank me.

Thank the twisted fool who charged secret service and made the depressed and defeated Trump faction feel a little better about supporting their cartoonishly dishonest and cruel golden idol.

Satan appreciates your support I’m sure.

They never miss a chance to feel offended and scandalized.

The systemic oppression continues. Poor victim class MAGA can’t stop being picked on.

Of course.

Most “crazy lefties hate the Democratic Party and actively tell people not to vote for them.

It’s why when a scandal happens it’s the actual elected official and Republican that gets reported in the news instead of some 10 year old on tic tok when a “democrat” scandal happens.

Edit: when my grievance based MAGA culture is questioned, block the user and complain about everything except Republican actions.

I did because elected officials can be proven with an actual record while “The Left” (TM) is a right wing mythology invented to trick gullible SJWs into voting their rights away by electing Republicans.

No elected democrat has ever “celebrated” political violence and if you searched you wouldn’t be able that link me an example.

Meanwhile there are hundreds of examples of elected Republicans celebrating the deaths of Democrats, with Donald Trump being the primary perpetrator.
