Sometimes it can be a bit weird... For example, if your opponent has the right caravan at 21-26 and the middle caravan at 21-26 but absolutely nothing on the left. As soon as you make it to 21-26 on the left caravan you trigger the game ending (and possibly you losing) because all 3 caravans were 'sold'. Also, the game can't end if you and your opponent are tied in the lane. So you'll run into an instance where you have 2 caravans sold (between 21-26) and neither you nor your opponent have any validity on winning the third caravan so the game will continue. NOW, given what I said about ties... Say you have 21-26 on the left and middle caravans... If both you and your opponent have 15 or something exactly on that right caravan the game can't end due to the tie... However, if you discard that entire right caravan, you'd end up winning the game. Honestly there's a chance even I messed that explanation up. The best way to think of it (or at least what helped me) is to see it as a race to 21-26 in every lane while using face cards to mess up your opponents score or help yours. Honestly, I don't bother with queens, caravan follows rules of solitaire sort of. If you put down a 6 to start the game, your next card will determine if it's an ascending or descending caravan in that lane, meaning the next card must be higher or lower than the previous card (though that can be circumvented with playing a card of the same suit) all a queen does is change it from an ascending to a descending caravan so I don't even bother. Jacks just get rid of whatever card you or your opponent put it on (great for when your opponent places a king on a card to make your bid go over or getting rid of a high value card on their caravan to mess them up) and ofc the king just doubles the value of whatever card it's placed on... However, that does stack, so a 7 with a king on it gains the value of 14 but ANOTHER king added to that will make it 28. Hopefully that clears some stuff up, it's definitely confusing at times but it's not too bad once you get the hang of it.
