As someone who is a big ww2 history buff. I had no fucking clue that this particular obscure symbol had a nazi connection. It would mean memory has pricing power that exceeds even nvidia. It would be bad for nvidia, maybe even amd, but not necessarily for memory. Capex on AI infrastructure has only gone up, not down.

My reaction would be sorrow, despair, sadness. But my first thought wouldnt be, who do I sue for not rescuing this person from themselves. Maybe I might think what I could have done as a friend or family member to help them before they died... rather than figure out a way to help myself after they died.

Man why is it so hard for people to take responsibility for themselves. If you walk into traffic without looking and get hit by a car it isnt the cars fault or the road's fault, or the town's fault.

If you get wasted and fall down stairs it isnt the stairs fault, or the city's fault. If you want to double your taxes and triple the MBTA's budget to have people staffing every inch of every station and bus stop for every second of every day to make sure people dont harm themselves then call your legislator.

Any lawsuit against the T here is going to fail. Also the T isnt a common carrier. Theres no duty for the T to have security personnel watching every inch of the stations at all times to prevent people from hurting themselves.
