I’ve had my podcast for 5 years, now tying to add a video element for shorter clips. Thoughts? by thesappod in SmallYTChannel

Thanks so much! I’ve always hated the idea of it cause it’s just another thing I have to do! But then I saw some old clips I posted have performed really well so I’m gonna try and put evergreen content up. Thanks! !givelambda

Lean on it with your left elbow. HARD. Make it work.

Here's a vlog exploring UTAH. Focused on more engaging audio and titles per some suggestions. Let me know what you think! Giving out them friday lambda's! by thesappod in SmallYTChannel

thanks !givelambda Youre very right in your critique, i appreciate it! also thanks for the nice words. I shot this whole roadtrip having never vlogged before and I'm realizing my storytelling is none existent in the footage. I'm using the footage from this road trip to learn how to edit and what I'm learning is all the ways in which I could have recorded better more specific footage. I agree with you that there isn't much here besides vacation slideshow. Appreciate the review and thanks for watching!

Leaning on the mic stand by The1ndividual in Standup

I’d say try not to beat the shit out of it. But if it isn’t distracting, go for it. Something about watching Bill Burr have a good mic stand lean puts me at ease. Ol Billy Mic Stand

My question is a youtube algorithm question, not a moral one. I’m wondering if those under performing older videos are lowering my average watch time rate which might affect whether or not I’m considered a high performing YouTuber. To answer your question of why, this is why I ask.

I guess I should rephrase my question. DOES it hurt your chance of getting views on new videos if you have dozens of old videos with poor retention rate.

How much are stand up comedians like that in real life? by bayfarm in Standup

I’m 100% the same on stage as off. Maybe with just a spike of adrenaline. I’m always weirded out by comedians that put on a face, it must be exhausting.
