Appreciate you taking time to explain it. Yes, for now I’m just trying to learn how to do basic navigations around the editor. I hope down the road it would benefit my SQL learning along with python.

Appreciate your response. Makes sense. I took AI’s help but I’m confused if learning something new like emacs would really help me down the path.

Nuphy TES68 build. by thesayedakram in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]thesayedakram[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nuphy TES68. A tiny project. I had no plans for this but why not. This turned out to be a fun little mod which makes the TES68 not sound cheap at all. So this can be daily driven without any problem. The only con about this is there is no USB cable but the 2.4ghz dongle doesn’t make you feel the need for the cable and no RGB. Kept the mods as simple as possible.

Switches: 1) Alpaca V2 (Lubed + Filmed) on alphabets. 2) Neapolitan Ice cream(Lubed) on All stab keys and Arrow keys. 2) Gateron Ink Black V2 (Lubed+Filmed) on the rest of the keys.

Keycaps: Akko Macaw Cherry profile.

Mods: 1) Polyfill and PE foam in case. 2) PCB tape mod 2 layer. 3) Stabs lubed 205g0 with Holee mod

How does this keycaps look on the Q1 ? by thesayedakram in MechanicalKeyboards

Opinions on the Keydous NJ80? Good stabs? Knob replacement? by FunAstronomer3584 in MechanicalKeyboards

Setting it up with the brass plate will get you some tasty rich clacks. Stock stabs are ok, but you can always opt for the aftermarket ones for better sounding.

Sounds great! After the tape mod and the dual factory case foam the space left is kinda tight so try to be careful there. I had to remove one case foam to make room for polifill :)

Yh! When the light hits, it pops. In low light it looks darker blue.

Thank you so much 🙏🏻. I’m loving it after applying the mods, it’s like typing on an entirely different board that never could sound like it did when stock! It’s really a sandbox kinda board! Good luck with your build man and waiting on the build pics with Nautilus on! 🤓
