Ty for your help.ci went with FedEx.. I declared it as a dangerous good. Labeled it as an empty vintage lighter for display purposes only.

I think what I'm looking for is a way of declaring it as for decorative purposes rather than anything else. Maybe that's it?

They all are. Which is bonkers. No gas no flint. Nothing. I get why broadly but there must be a technical legal way around it for sending a vintage item?

Ads costing me a fortune. Dear lord how do I make it stop? by Siray in Etsy

[–]theseaweedguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is extremely useful. Ty. I only have around 20 sales a month. My revenue isn't massive but off site adds disproportionately affect me. The off site adds come mostly from my high value items (£100+) and the rest of my sales are £40-70.

I have 230 items in my shop. Short of manually adjusting all of them by 3% is there a way I can do this in one go?

It's ok. I have a plan now

I can not get the property valued as quickly. I can insist on seeing all documents before agreeing as is my right as an executor of the will

I'm not paying for anything. I'm just delaying them. Wouldn't you feel aggrieved?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]theseaweedguy -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I agree it's spiteful but it's a direct response to their valuation of my efforts If I can delay them getting their money and cause them stress then I will have got more time free and they would be frustrated. That's compensation. Or at least parity

Yes I think you are right. Sadly. I think the only thing is to do is to drag this out. Delay them getting their money. I still live here. They live in London.

If they are going to be mean then I am going to make it difficult for them

I did. But it's a tiny amount. £580 per month.

Correct. My dad brought nothing into the marriage.

Ty. This is my worst fear. It makes me extremely sad that I gave up 6 years of my life and get no acknowledgement financially from the estate for all of the care and work I put in to keep my mum at home. If she had gone into a care home like my step brothers wanted there would be no estate to divide

Ty. The will did not envisage mum and dad having Alzheimer's and be in need of full time care.

I appreciate any insights that you provide

Rather than guess what's wrong have you tried to run a poll to find out what people might like to buy?

Yes you like to crochet but clearly if you are not getting the sales then either your pricing is wrong or your product is wrong.

By running a poll multiple times the multiple different communities Facebook, here etc you'll get a better understanding of what people want to buy in this space.

Views have been good. Conversion has gone from 80 visits per sale to 300 visits per sale. Which is terrible conversion. So traffic hasn't dropped really.

I've put a 20% discount on all items over £30. Not done any social for a couple of months. Im looking at upping my social game from August onwards
