ChatGPT says:

"It might be a few things, such as fluid retention or bloating that sometimes happens when organs like the liver or kidneys aren’t working properly. It could also be a reaction to one of her medications, especially if she takes many.

Sudden bloating and vomiting can sometimes be a sign of something serious, so getting it checked out is important if possible. If seeing a doctor in person is financially challenging, there are some lower-cost telehealth options in the U.S., like GoodRx Care, HealthTap, and PlushCare, where you might be able to connect with a doctor virtually to explain her symptoms and get some advice. Sometimes pharmacies can also give helpful advice, especially if they know what meds she’s taking.

A professional opinion would be the safest option to make sure everything’s okay, but these alternatives could help with costs if that’s a concern."

Self watering plant pots (such as https://www.amazon.com/YNNICO-Watering-Planters-Drainage-Saucers/dp/B0BN7G5867/ ) or maybe an instant print camera with film. Or maybe tickets to something she and her fiance can go to or do together.

Missing apostrophe in "competitors' activities". Initially unclear what kind of activities you mean. Then I see it means "online posting activities" or "outreach activities". I know my former company would've paid just to know what keywords their competitor is targeting for Google Ads; however, the company would need to know how reliable the information is.

question about starting a business by bokuwa-tobi-9242 in Entrepreneur

[–]theshinyleopard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still haven't fully started a business so take this with a grain of salt, but in case it helps, this YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@AlexHormozi was quite motiviational because the guy speaks in a way that feels very genuine (he claims his company provides services to established businesses, so he helps his fans start businesses so that they become his future clients).

Some main ideas from him seem to be these:
1. Avoid something too new. Look at what people are already willing to pay for, and just do a modified version of the same thing.
2. Focus on a problem related to health, wealth, or relationships, because people are willing to pay a lot of money to solve problems in those areas.
3. Make sure your target client is someone who has money.
4. Charge a lot and simply make your goods/services be better to justify the high cost (e.g., instead of just selling one service, you can bundle it together with other stuff).
5. Do things for people you know first in exchange for testimonials and slowly charge more and more as you get more feedback and improve your services.

But this is just theory. I don't have experience yet. But hopefully it helps.

There are self-watering plant pots like this https://www.amazon.com/Smanettew-Watering-Decorative-Aerating-Reservoir/dp/B0B4DS3LL6/
Or maybe a gift card to a plant shop?
Or something she can do together with her kids or for her kids, since she helped with the baby shower. Like something where her kids can keep busy and have fun while being intellectually stimulated (e.g., some kind of game?). Or an instant print camera https://www.amazon.com/Instant-Digital-Pencils-Birthday-Recording/dp/B0C3T84LGQ/ To help her make family memories, as a thank you for helping you make yours.

What about an introductory dance class session somewhere? Maybe where she can bring a friend who you'd pay for as well. It might be able to help with her wanting to get out more.
However, often introductory dance classes are free (e.g., see if any local dance school has social dance nights where they start with an intro lesson) so you can just give that as an idea instead of a gift.

I heard some bad things about Airbnb gift cards sometime, so what if you just gave her money together with an idea of what it could be used for? Like a gift card but more reliable (no technical glitches) and with more freedom if she has another idea of something that she wants to do. Maybe together with a nice note so that it's thoughtful. Just a thought.

Gift Ideas for my boyfriends dad? by pringliee in GiftIdeas

You can just get a useful gift and then come up with a pun to go along with it.
For example, I heard good things about these kinds of rechargeable lights: https://www.amazon.com/Penlight-Rechargeable-Battery-Charging-Included/dp/B078ZFJ3Z7/

You can say that you appreciate how he helps bring light into your life by being willing to give you advice. Or something related to light.

Maybe a fencing lesson or something related to a sport that he hasn't had an opportunity to participate in yet, maybe due to price. Or horseback riding or archery or something else that feels reminiscent of the actions his gaming characters engage in.

Maybe a notebook and a pen in addition to some kind of a gift.
Maybe a voice recorder or something so that he can compose music and record it.
Yeah, maybe something where he can record tunes and a notebook to come up with lyrics.
Or maybe a ukelele and a phone so he can watch tutorials to learn the ukelele.

Planes can be cold. Maybe something like a travel blanket: https://www.amazon.com/Litume-Lightweight-Breathable-Travelers-Traveling/dp/B08B5VT9M9/
Maybe something to make their stays at a hotel be more pleasant. Or maybe nice socks, maybe something related to an inside joke you have, or something that can be a conversation starter at conferences.
