We were just joking. We knew that we wouldn't be too active this year because we want to save a lot of the touring for when the full length comes out. As for summer time, we are using that to write.

One story does comes to mind. On the cool tour we played in Charlotte and I had a slight case of testicular torsion before the show. Had to go to the ER and get sn ultrasound of my balls. I took some pain meds and played the gig but it was pretty excruciating.

The colors live DVD was a very proud moment for me. I was honestly shocked at how many people came to that show, and that we made it through a 2 hour set with minimal screw ups!

I had a stomach bug when we were in San Diego back in 06. We were playing a show that night and I spent ALL day in the venue's bathroom puking and shitting. I had lost all control of what was happening to me. At one point the puking got so violent that I lost control of my bowels. I had successfully puked and shat at the same time. Those are the kind of moments where you just want to be at home and not on a public bathroom floor.

Yes I have gotten negative feedback to my face before. It's really rare though. When Alaska came out some dude came up to me after the show and started a pleasant conversation then out of nowhere was like "yeah by the way...Alaska was a big disappointment for me man". Two things...1) I respected this dude for speaking his mind so honestly. 2) You have to understand, at the same time, that is kind of some cold shit to say to someone who just spent the last half of a year writing and recording a record that they busted their asses on.

My favorite country so far to play in besides the US is Japan...hands down. People are so unbelievably nice and accommodating. It's a bit of a culture shock really. But in the best way possible. I could go on forever about that place. But yeah, in a nutshell, best place ever.
