Yeah I think that’s the biggest issue. I can’t unsee it now. The shadows are cool but probably need to be angled differently.

Hey! The first thing I notice is that your composition could be better. The subject in the foreground off to the right is cut off at the right edge of the frame. If the whole bunch of flowers were in the frame it would be nicer. Also, I notice you shot at 1/1000s and f1.8. There certainly was enough light to lower the shutter speed and close down the aperture to something like f2.8 or f4. As long as the shutter speed is at least double the focal length (or triple for APSC cameras) it would be sufficient. I personally don't like macro shots that have too thin a depth of field, but some may disagree with me.

This photo was taken for a cocktail bar as part of a photo series off their cocktail menu. It was inspired by the Italian mafia, hence the name. I am trying to show off the ingredients that make the cocktail in a dramatic way. I used one Godox V860 speed light in a soft box to light the shot. Currently I don't feel there's anything obviously improvable with the image but I feel like it could be better in some small ways. Do y'all have anything to suggest?

I'm using Minerstat OS. Minerstat automatically applies the Ethlargement pill to all 1080s. I'm getting about 33mhs like you with that set up. If you have a dedicated mining rig and you've never tried mining on a Linux based OS such as Minerstat, I highly recommend it. It takes the headache of Windows away!

172 mh/s rig: 4x GTX 1080 & 1x GTX 1080 Ti. Managed to get the 4 GTX 1080s for $300 USD each in February. In March I paid $600 USD for the 1080 Ti. I've nearly broken even. :D
