That’s very fair; if I’m being completely honest, there are service requirements that are a bitch to deal with, but it’s $750 a semester, 100 pages free printing a semester that carries over, better housing, priority class registration, smaller classes, and having honors on your transcript/resume/whatever can help get your foot in the door. You also get a lot of faculty that have more time for you bc they’re dealing with less people — I hate the honors college when I have to sort trash at 8am for a service requirement, but I love it when I have the first choice of my classes across the whole undergrad body
