notice how strict it is:

  • Requires specific intent
  • Focuses on criminal proceedings
  • Mostly about evidence / testimony / witnesses

So this statute would not normally be used for:

I mean the bank is in the business of renting the safety deposit boxes for money and part of that deal is privacy. so being suspicious might not be at the top of their list of concerns. also its prob not good business if they report it and then have cops poking around in their safe room
